Roxie’s Mother Chica and her Paternal Grandfather Jake had 4 new healthy Havanese puppies July 26, 2008.  Welcome to the World, little sibs. *

* Strange, but true:  Kristen, with zero knowledge of the pregnancy, had a dream the night of Chica’s labor that we got a new little light brown/gold Havanese puppy.  The psychic dreamer strikes again!

Roxie’s only sister only Havanese litter-mate sister Carmel is such the champion showgirl.  Such beauty and grace.

(Carmel and Roxie were the only 2 girls in a litter of 7)

So photogenic…runs in the family!

Roxie’s Aunt Mia and Grandfather Jake  rocked the Havanese National Competition.  It was a sweep with this Father/Daughter team. 

First, Grandfather Jake came out of retirement to win "Best Vetran Dog."  Wow!  Then, he cleaned up with "Best Stud Dog."  These wins leveraged him straight to this week’s Westminster Kennel Club Champion Competition in NYC.

Mia followed by making Dad proud with her "Best Brood Bitch" award.  Lucky Girl. 

Roxie cheered the Havanese Group at The Westminister Kennel Club this week in NYC.  The woman pictured in the middle handles dogs from Roxie’s family.  We’ll be going to see them in San Jose this weekend and look forward to hearing all about the big event.
